HR Administrator

    Benny's is looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join the team!  We are looking for an innovative professional to manage in house HR & Recruiting. We are a growing company that offers a fun and friendly work environment.

    Description:

    Benny's HR Administrator coordinates and maintains employee files and the input of accurate data into the employee database.  Assists applicants and employees by answering questions and providing assistance and information.  Our HR administrator must be able to work in a fast paced environment. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain knowledge of all company policies
    • Write and execute new policies and procedures
    • Communicate with management and employees on current and upcoming events
    • Conduct employee satisfaction surveys
    • Plan annual wellness and open enrollment events
    • Complete quarterly risk-management walk throughs
    • Maintain attendance and other records
    • Complete investigations and reports post-incident
    • Write and post job descriptions and advertisements on various media
    • Recruit using various methods, including online, job fairs, etc.
    • Conduct interviews and manage applicant tracking system
    • Work with the marketing department to create job ads
    • Manage new hire onboarding and orientation; maintain uniform inventory and orders
    • Authorize drug screens and perform background checks; review results for new hires
    • Manage unemployment and workers' comp claims and investigations
    • Maintain OSHA compliance
    • Complete internal audits
    • Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practice
    • Capability of dealing with people effectively and tactfully
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully and productively
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

    Minimum Education or Experience Requirements:

    • HR or Business Degree with at least 2-3 years' experience
    • At least 2 years related HR experience, preferably in a retail environment
