    The Purpose Driven Work Life

Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management is pleased to sponsor a seminar on HR Leadership: The Purpose Driven Work Life. This event will be held during our regular monthly meeting on April 17, 2014. We are requesting approval for 1.0 hour of continuing education credit. The following information will describe the program details.

Seminar descriptionThe title, inspired by the bestselling book of a similar title, seeks to answer for participants in the context of work:

    • What am I here for?
    • What is my purpose?
    • How can I make a difference?
    • How can I change my world?

Answers to these questions, and the potential impact to our work lives and the lives of others, can be profound. In this inspiring presentation, Mr. Pinson will share with participants, current as well as ancient wisdom that are some of life’s simplest yet most important life lessons; lessons regarding values, vision, strategy, purpose and relationships. These lessons when applied to our work, not only help us to be more effective, they can also give our lives more meaning. This seminar is not about them…it’s about you.

When we discover the true purpose of our work, we have more energy, more engagement, and more fulfillment. By helping us connect, or for some reconnect, to what is most important, we have the greatest chance of changing ourselves, others, and ultimately our world.
