    Mini Seminar - Interplay among FMLA, PTO, Workers’ Comp and ADA

    The presentation will discuss and consider potential legislative changes to FMLA and the evolving case law concerning ADA duty to accommodate, as well as how these areas affect and interact workers compensation issues, such as “light duty” and return to work in the compensation setting, medical certifications and fitness for duty issues and PTO/paid leave impacts, effects and compliations. 

    Learning Objectives:

    Attendees will gain understanding of the differences and points of overlap among the laws; methods of identifying which laws apply in various scenarios and how to document employee leave that may be complicated by the interplay including company paid leave.
