    Thank you for your interest in GBR SHRM! We are excited that you are interested in becoming a member!

    The Greater Baton Rouge Society for Human Resource Management is one of nine (9) Affiliate Chapters of The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) in the State of Louisiana.

    GBR SHRM and SHRM are individual membership organizations.  Members include individuals with a range of titles and responsibilities:

    • Membership in the local chapter is based on a calendar year and is Only $180 a year.

    • Membership dues after January 1st will be prorated each month based upon when you join.

    • Current members may renew their membership during the months October - December for the following calendar year.
    • Membership includes Monthly Chapter Meetings with complimentary meal.

    • Local professional development opportunities

    • Opportunities to network and exchange valuable information with other HR professionals

    • Up-to-date information on pending state and federal legislation
    • Access to contemporary, successful practices to make your organization more efficient, increase employee commitment and help your organization's managers carry out business strategy
    • Interesting and informative meetings on trending HR topics

    • Leadership skill development opportunities with the ability to assume volunteer leadership roles

    Associate $180

    *Affiliate, Associate and Professional Membership fees ($180) are prorated at $15 per month.
