U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement would like to invite the members of the GBR SHRM group and any other members of the business community to the 2013 IMAGE Training and Forum being held on May 23, 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The training is free and we will be covering the new IMAGE program, Form I-9s, detection of fraudulent documents, and other topics related to employment compliance. We will also be addressing questions about the hiring process as it relates to employment compliance. This is a chance for employers to ask questions directly to the federal agencies that regulate employment compliance.

Registration for the event can be found on the invitation or on the website. Additional information on the IMAGE program is also available on the ICE website. For those who wish to attend, all we ask is that they pre-register for the forum.

Daryn Hope is a Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations. He has been with HSI for over 9 years and is currently assigned to the New Orleans office as the full-time IMAGE coordinator. Prior to assuming the role of IMAGE coordinator, Daryn conducted criminal investigations related to customs and immigration violations. Before joining HSI, Daryn spent 8 years with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office, where he first served as a patrol deputy and was later promoted to detective.
