Understand the purpose and goals of the Incumbent Worker Training Program and other services available through the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Attendees will learn about placement services available to employers and job seekers, how to access unemployment insurance taxes and wage information, as well as training initiatives available through the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
Andre France – OWD (Office of Workforce Development)
Giving attendees an understanding on using the HiRE system as a tool for recruiting, handling confidential salary information, utilizing the Applicant Questionnaire, the Virtual Recruiter tool and managing their Job Order postings.
Stephen Harris OUIA (Office of Unemployment Insurance Administration)
Provide attendees an update on the features available for handling UI duties via HiRE. Give instruction on submitting Separation Notices and other UI forms using the HiRE system. Give and update on other upcoming features of HiRE that will be beneficial to employers.
