The Brand Called YOU - How Your Personal Brand Impacts Your Organization's Brand

Presented By:  Melinda Stallings, SHRM-SCP & CEO at Melinda Stallings International

An organization’s brand is inextricably linked to the employees who represent that organization.  To note, individuals who have a strong self-brand are more likely to be more engaged, a better team player and more productive.  In general, they are more confident, self-effacing and are supportive of others and their goals.  How can a person develop their own brand, how does it impact their career and how can their brand support the organization’s brand for whom they work?  These sessions will explore the dynamics of a “strong brand identity” personally and within the organization.

    Learning Objectives:

To highlight the importance of developing your own brand image.

    • To illustrate the impact of a personal brand on an organization’s brand.
    • To understand the essential elements of designing your brand.
    • To assist participants in determining the key concepts and values of their personal brand.

Session I          You Never Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression

A look at the 6 key concepts associated with a personal brand and how they are incorporated into a congruent strategy for your organization’s brand.  What are the important constructs that are associated with building your own strong brand image?  How do they support engagement, camaraderie and productivity within the organization?  How can you use these to your benefit regardless of the situation you are facing, personal or professional?

Session II        Roll up Your Sleeves – Discover Who YOU Are – Beginning YOUR Brand Work

This session is all about the participant.  Through individual and group experiences, participants will begin to conceptualize their personal brand personifications.  Actionable items include a self-discovery in terms of personality type, core values and objective feedback from others.  They will leave this session with more than just a framework for defining their brand, they will leave with a desire to finish their masterpiece.

Each session has been approved for one SHRM PDC and one HRCI general credit toward certification. Attend both sessions and you will receive two certification credits for SHRM and HRCI.

Seating is limited to 60 per session!  Click here to register now.
